As I was leaving the credit union bank, annoyed that I had to drive all the way there to pay my car loan instead of doing it online (like every other bank is capable of offering in 2016), I looked up at the sky and immediately felt a light, calming, warmth wash over me. It was so beautiful, it completely transformed me from being frustrated and irritated to appreciative and grateful. This was one of those moments that stops you, makes you take a deep breath, and realize it's all going to be alright because look at all the BEAUTY surrounding you! I saw periwinkle, deep purple, pink, and some grayish/blue, all tracing the final rays of the sun before it set on the West Coast, causing dark shadows on the trees and landscape before the night took over. The purple color in the sky is what stood out to me most, creating this joyous, soothing feeling. 
Great example of foreground and background - where there are nice contrasts between the 2, it is generally very pleasing to us
