The way the Jacuzzi at my apartment complex lights up at night is hypnotizing. After a long day of classes and rehearsals, it draws me in with beautiful shades of blue color which the one light bulb in the center illuminates, casting darker shades in some areas of the pool and lighter shades in others. You can see the water rippling when you stand near, and steam evaporating as it reaches higher into the cold air. In the background you can see the reflection of the light onto the lake behind the pool. The two bodies of water are contrasting in brightness, yet both bring peace and tranquility. 
No wonder the color blue is so comforting for us as humans :)
